Thalassemia is an inherited blood disorder in which the body makes an abnormal form of hemoglobin. Hemoglobin is the protein molecule in red blood cells that carries oxygen.

The goal of the society is:

– To provide social support and advocacy for patients and carers of patients with thalassaemia, sickle cell anaemia, blackfan diamond disorder and other haemoglobinopathies, while leading communityeducation and awareness-raising of the need for testing and providing funding for treatment, medical equipment and research.

Throughout my time in this role I was fortunate to be involved in some key strategic wins for the company, including the formation of 3 significant partnerships which have allowed us to give back to community and assist the broader population.

Working as the Campaign Director & Chief of Staff for The Small Business Party is a challenging yet rewarding role.

The Small Business Party is a newly founded political party with a focus on advocating for Small businesses, their families, and local communities right across NSW and Australia.

My role is multi-faceted, but primarily involves:

– Strategy and Campaign Planning,
– Website design and creation,
– Digital and Social Media Management, – Advocacy and negotiation,

Advertising Sales Executive

Within my role as an advertising sales executive for Fairfax Media, it was my responsibility to ensure the achievement of sales and marketing KPI’s, as well as ensuring growth within our region.

I was responsible for aggressive sales targets, and was consistently achieving targets within my scope.

Whilst within this position, I was able to not only bring in consistent advertising revenue, but also develop more than 25 new clients onto our books within the first 3 months of working.

I left this role toward the end of 2017 following the death of a child – to support my family at home.

As the Manager of the Sanity Group in Bowral, it was my role to manage a team of 8 personnel to ensure that our company and local requirements were being met.

The store achieved an annual turnover of $1million, with an estimated 500 customers per day.

It was my role to manage my team and their KPI’s whilst managing my own targets, for both state and national success. Our store consistently achieved positive results with a satisfied and comfortable customer base.

As a Salesperson for the Optus group, it was my duty to assist customers with their day to day needs regarding their telecommunications requirements.

I was required to not only assist returning customers to manage their services, but also to encourage the acquisition of new clients into our group.

This was a role undertaken within a team, but also with personal targets and KPI’s.


Aviation Maintenance Engineer (Avionics)

Royal Australian Navy
2004 – 2009 (5 years)

As a member of the Royal Australian Navy Fleet Air Arm, I undertook many varied and challenging roles.

From the day-to-day maintenance and support of the AS350BA airframe, and more so the Avionics Components, comprising Entry-Level electronics up to and including Dual-Axis Autopilot systems.

This position allowed me to work independently, and to manage a small number of personnel working with and under me to achieve our current mission.

To provide this support both ashore and at Sea as a member of the Navy’s frontline support team.

This position demanded rigorous training and a strict fitness and disciplinary regime, which have afforded me a greater level of personal motivation and professionalism.

I left this role in 2009 to commence studies on my Bachelor of Medical and Health Science.
